Director International Campaign to Ban Landmines – Cluster Munition Coalition

The CMC works to change the policy and practice of governments and organizations to rid the world of cluster munitions and to raise awareness of the problem related to cluster munitions amongst the public. [...] The campaign work of both the CMC and the ICBL is underpinned and supported by the research work of the Landmine and Cluster Munition Monitor. [...] ICBL and CMC campaigners around the world work in a spirit of cooperation with their governments and other partners to ensure countries that join the Mine Ban Treaty and the Convention on Cluster Munitions live up to the letter and spirit of these treaties. [...] Develop and execute ICBL-CMC strategies and supporting activities to ensure the full universalization and implementation of the Mine Ban Treaty and Convention on Cluster Munitions ● Clear definition of objectives, their prioritization, provision of direction to staff, allocation of resources and of tasks. [...] Inform and consult the ICBL-CMC Governance Board ● Ensure open and sufficient communication, including the production and dissemination of timely and adequate reporting to the Governance Board, to make sure its members have the information needed to make informed decisions and contribute their expertise to the campaigns.
