We took part in the panel focusing on the impact of socio-economic crises on women and men, where we discussed the importance of mainstreaming gender in the measures to mitigate the negative impact in the countries of the region. [...] Upon invitation of the Energy Community, two MPs and one committee staff attended the meeting at the Energy Community’s premises in Vienna where we got acquainted with the procedures and the progress related to developing the National Energy and Climate Plans, the coal phase out at a time of crisis as well as the current standing in the region in terms of the energy poverty. [...] In addition, Marija Risteska, the Executive Director of the Center for Research and Policy Making and the Regional Director of the Gender Budget Watchdog Network met with the Head of Budget at the ICC Register Office Osvaldo Zavala-Giler and discussed the use of GRB tools in the budgeting for the International Criminal Court (ICC) in the Hague. [...] In the first half of the year, we worked on development of the intellectual outputs on the topics Gender budget cost benefit/effectiveness analysis and GRB budget execution and monitoring, additionally CRPM was the lead in developing the curriculum on Gender disaggregated analysis of the impact of the budget on time use. [...] On the other hand, Radulovic explained the operation of the GPG in the Serbian Parliament, especially the innovative way of communication that has been formed in agreement with the relevant parliamentary committee for direct communication with the secretary of the committee and the so called Green Chair.
