On the other hand, the results of the digital farm machinery (e.g., laser land leveling) ensured that wheat yield and water productivity can be increased up to 5.0 t/ha and 1.28 kg/m3, respectively over the wheat national average yield of 1.7 t/ha. [...] The purpose of this paper is to highlight the available and easily accessible CSA digital technologies that contribute to at least two pillars of CSA of increased food productivity and adaptation to a changing climate. [...] Materials and Methods For the first CSA technology (remote sensing) which was used to predict the yield of rainfed sorghum, thirteen MODIS images, relatively cloud-free and at nadir view to the study area, were ordered and downloaded from the website of MODIS Data Support ( ) for the period August – December 2010, 2013, and 2014 (Table 1). [...] The study was funded by the Technical Center for Agricultural and Rural Corporation, The Netherlands, and implemented by eLEAF company and the Hydraulic Research Center (HRC), Sudan. [...] The technology toolkits also include the wheat variety (Imam variety) which was supplied by the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA) and it is known to be heat tolerant and adaptable to the Sudan ecology.
