And one of the main interests that I have developed there, and that I contributed to in my PhD thesis, is the question of how political globalization shapes the way in which citizens become involved in activism. [...] Most recently I've worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Stockholm University and Leiden University, and in these positions I focused mainly on how environmental activists and climate activists in particular how they perceive the future of climate change and the future of climate politics, and in particular, how they see whether humanity still has a chance to keep climate change within safe level. [...] Why did you choose Sciences Po and specifically the CEE as your laboratory? Sciences Po, for me, is one of the most stimulating research environments to develop the research lines that I've been developing over the past couple of years, and also that I plan to develop in the coming years. [...] Indeed, one of the specializations of the Centre for European Studies and Comparative Politics has to do with democracy and the role of citizen participation in shaping democracy. [...] There are various other areas of specialization that also have been very important to my research in the past, such as the role of cities and the role of the urban context in shaping politics as well as questions that I want to deal with more in the future of my research, namely on the role of the state.
