The proportion of men that are in work in Arfon (75.3 per cent) is 3.6 percentage points below the GB average (78.9 per cent) and is also below the Welsh average (76.1 per cent).23 By contrast women in Arfon are more likely to be in work (73 per cent) than the GB average (72.3 per cent) and the Welsh average (70.5 per cent).24 The constituency also performs broadly in line with the rest of Wales w.
