This report analyzes transport infrastructures in 30 European countries (EU-27, Norway, Switzerland, United Kingdom). It researches the development of roads and railroads since 1995 and analyzes the demand that has arisen on these modes. From this, policy recommendations are derived. Special attention is paid to abandoned railroad lines. Research commissioned by the European Mobility4All campaign, represented by Greenpeace in Central and Eastern Europe
