New Terms of Reference for APLA Work commenced on the development of new Terms of Reference for APLA as the current Memorandum of Collaboration expires in October 2023. [...] The new Terms of Reference will be finalised for approval by the ALIA Board in the coming months. [...] 1 Trove Collaborative Services Alison Dellit gave a presentation on the history and evolution of Trove Collaborative services starting with the establishment of the Australian Bibliographic Network in 1981 and the launch of Trove in 2009. [...] Following the presentation there was good discussion around the challenges of inter-library lending in terms of cost and the barriers to alternatives such as acquisitions of physical copies or transition to e-resources. [...] Aged care reforms pilot with the Department of Health and Aged Care APLA has endorsed and will promote the pilot program being rolled out by ALIA in partnership with the Department of Health and Aged Care.
