Africa CORDIO’s activities include primary research, monitoring and coordinating partners in studies on the implications of coral bleaching and mortality on coral reef biophysical and socio- economic parameters, biogeography of coral reef species, fish ecology and reef fisheries, and using this knowledge in conservation planning, fundraising, and capacity building for coral reef science in the Wes.
