The NFSP is one of the flagship programmes designed to achieve the Bottom-up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), which identifies bringing down the cost of living, eradicating hunger, creating jobs, and uplifting the livelihoods of those at the bottom of the pyramid as some of the government’s key governance priorities.
