Other workers who arrived at checkpoints in the West Bank in the hopes of staying with acquaintances or in shelters prepared for this purpose report that upon attempting to cross, they were interrogated for many hours by the [Israeli] military and held for extended periods of time, some of them in restraints. [...] The revocation of the permits and their deletion from the Al-Munaseq application constitutes a prohibited act of vengeance against the workers. [...] If the above did not suffice, Article 43 of the Fourth Geneva Convention requires Israel to provide the names of the protected persons who were detained or whose residence has been assigned as As required by law, Gisha is proud to share that as a result of our partnerships with countries and international organizations that support our work to promote human rights, the majority of our funding come. [...] In light of all of the above, we ask you to take action to release the protected workers involuntarily confined to detention facilities in the West Bank. [...] We further ask that you provide a comprehensive list of all the workers in your custody and their place of detention and permit a group of lawyers to visit the workers to assess the conditions of their detention.
