The report shines a spotlight on the journey of the South-South Youth Platform (SSYP) thus far, delineates its objectives and action plans, reflects on the milestones already achieved and the lessons learned, includes valuable insights of youth leaders from the developing world, and develops practical strategies for the future. [...] Moreover, developing countries in the South, with large shares of adolescents and youth, currently have a rare and short-lived opportunity to reap the full benefits of the demographic dividend, which could greatly accelerate the process of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and the ICPD25 Commitments.
