The recent meeting of the foreign ministers, on 21 September 2022, held in the backdrop of the Ukraine war, energy and food crisis especially for developing countries, found resonance and revived the raison d’etre of IBSA within its own membership.9 The latest meeting on 22 September 2023, which marked 20 years of the creation of IBSA, was substantive and a curtain-raiser for what IBSA can achieve.
