The Gatestone Institute was established in 2008 by Nina Rosenwald as a think tank that publishes commentary and analysis on various international policy issues. Initially part of the Hudson Institute, it became independent and adopted its current name in 2012. Gatestone focuses on topics related to national security, terrorism, and human rights, often emphasizing perceived threats from Muslim immigration and Islamist terrorism. Its mission is to inform the public and policymakers by providing insights that challenge mainstream media narratives.
