The Sustainable Futures Collaborative (SFC) is an independent research organization dedicated to analyzing frontier issues in climate change, energy, and the environment. SFC focuses on systemic changes required for India's transition to a sustainable, just, and resilient economy and society. Their work encompasses four primary research areas: Adaptation and Resilience, Climate Policy, Energy Transitions, and Environmental Governance and Policy. SFC's approach involves identifying frontier issues of long-term strategic importance, establishing foundational evidence, shaping the policy ecosystem for transformative change, and collaborating with state and non-state actors to advance policy.
