Understanding the interactions between biowaste valorisation and the Sustainable Development Goals: insights from an early transition stage

This study investigates biowaste valorization’s (BV) sustainability implications based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) interaction analysis using a mixed-methods approach. Firstly, the authors synthesise current scientific knowledge through a literature-based analysis. Secondly, they investigate insights on BV-SDG interactions at a national context: the authors elicit stakeholder views through semi-structured interviews in Greece as a national case application.
