The Climate Support Facility (CSF) provides critical support to countries, propelling them toward realizing their climate goals. As a Multidonor Trust Fund (MDTF) in the World Bank's Climate Change Group, the Facility plays a key role in embedding climate into World Bank country dialogue and financing. The CSF has assisted developing countries in their transition toward low-emission and climate-resilient economies to meet the goals of the Paris Agreement through three key impact paths: accelerated climate action, a strengthened enabling environment for climate, and increased investment in climate action. Progress reporting documented a total of 249 grants in 2023, reflecting substantial efforts in advancing climate action since the CSF's inception in 2020. The CSF will also host a new program that coalesces the power of Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) to achieve long-term climate goals.
