It should be an attractive prospect to live, work and run a business, no matter where you are in the Nordic Region. However, the new geopolitical situation places greater demands on the areas of security, supply and preparedness. During the period between now and 2030, Nordic co-operation within regional development and planning will place focus on promoting a green transition that generates development and opportunities for people and businesses in the different parts of the Nordic Region. At the same time, the regional sector also has an ambition to focus on bolstering the competitiveness and resilience of the internal Nordic regions, and to promote trans-regional collaboration. Finally, the sector also has an ambition to place focus on efforts to promote secure and good living standards across the entire Nordic Region, both in times of peace and in times of crisis.
