Summary
Young women in Bolivia are 8 percentage points more likely than young men to be out of employment, not in education, or in training. 1 in 4 women have experienced physical and or sexual intimate partner violence in the last 12 months. Although declining, adolescent fertility remains above the average for the region and for lower-middle income countries. Women are 10 percentage points more likely than men to have vulnerable jobs. Only 63 percent of women have access to a financial account compared to 74 percent of men.
