EFSAS stands out in comparison to other Think-tanks due to its capacity to draw on excellent research conducted by its own academicians.EFSAS relies on funding from the EU (European Commission Projects) and is a member of the Civil Society Empowerment Programme (CSEP), which is coordinated by the Radicalisation Awareness Network (RAN) Centre of Excellence, and is funded by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs. At present, EFSAS is a 'Leading Coordinating Organization' in one EU Project (Free4Youth) and a 'Partner Organization' in various other EU projects, and is currently also in the process of exploring funded projects initiated by the various bodies and mechanisms of the United Nations (UN) which are related to EFSAS' expertise and the region of South Asia.
